"Bad news, everyone!"

supposedly, the new "Futurama" eps will have a completely new cast! curse you 20th Century Fox!!

article about the recasting

Phil LaMarr (Hermes) 's facebook posting about it
Let the powers-that-be know how you, the people who gave the show ratings, bought DVDs, put money in their pockets and brought the show back from the dead, feel about the recasting.

It's a negotiating ploy by 20th Century Fox studio. It's the same thing they did w/ the Simpsons several years ago. They're hoping to scare the actors into accepting lower pay.
They don't think that it matters to the audience who is doing the voices. If people's emails don't convince them, maybe they'll find out at the Comic-Con panel next week.

Maybe some sort of strategy behind this?

Yeah, I heard about that. The group supposedly asked for too much, but I don't see why they can't just negotiate it down a peg. I'm sure they'd like to get some sort of money from this, and the audience would rather hear the old voices. Maybe this is just a stunt to try to get the voice actors to drop their proposed salaries a bit? Hope so, otherwise this may wind up being a farce that not enough people will pay attention to.
