sekitoualso, Randy Johnson was supposed to try to win his 300th game tonight. this is THE big number for pitchers. 300 wins is like, it. there have only be 23 pitchers ever to reach that mark. and only 5 lefthanders. The Big Unit will be the 24th pitcher, and the 6th righthander. he currently sits at 299, and was to pitch against the Nationals tonight.
Randy is my favorite pitcher. I've watched him for ages. I even bought his bobblehead in, of all places, the ESPNZone in Denver when I was there withstarandrea. it's sitting next to my tv in the living room right now.
I said "supposed to" pitch because the Giants vs Nationals game is currently in a rain delay. they swear that he'll get a chance tonight 'cause the game will go on. but it's getting awfully late for them to start this game.
