and so, an update on the

Power Rangers Fantasy Football League!

we have 3 new members! and I just want to say, y'all rock! invites were accepted and teams setup wicked fast! y'all don't know how great that is. I'm league manager for 3 leagues (this one and 2 for work friends), and it's like pulling teeth to get people to accept invites/setup their teams. I have a draft today at 1:30, and one of the guys *still* hasn't accepted! if he doesn't accept in the next hour, the website won't run the draft. but I digress...

here's the business we need to get done for our league:
1) we have 3 new members, but we're potentially losing 2. if we don't hear from poso13 before the draft, we'll have to drop him. it would be best if we had an even # of teams, because then there won't be any bye weeks. I know for me, bye weeks through me off because I don't check the team that week, then forget to check it the next week when we're actually playing. so if you know anyone else who would like to play, spread the word. we could use at least one more person. I'm going to send a lj message to poso13, but I know he's busy, so he might not come back.

2) set keepers. nikkisilver, you're the only one who hasn't set keepers. if you don't know how, I can set them for you. just let me know who you want to keep. right now the deadline to pick keepers is Wednesday, 09/08/10 at 5:00pm. but that could change based on #3.

3) the draft! we need to hold the draft. anyone who doesn't know how to do it, don't worry. there's a chatwindow in the draftroom. get there early, and we'll talk you through everything. I'll try to find the emails I sent out a few years ago explaining exactly what you need to do and who you need to draft. if you need help, let me know and I'll do whatever I can to help you. :)

as for the draft, we need to set a date and time. everyone please reply to this post with when you're available, and we'll work out a day/time. I'm off tomorrow, but I normally work 6/7-3 on weekdays. this coming week I will have some after-work things to take care of, but I'm not sure what days they'll happen on (they're work-related, and they never gave us the exact date). anyway, let me know when is good for y'all, and we'll work it out. the season starts on Thursday, 09/09/10, so we have to have the draft before that. it can be that day, but we have to have it before the game starts at 8:30pm.

ETA: Team Dino Thunderers, I see that there are players on your team, but I'm not sure why/how. we choose our players through the draft. so I'm going to reset your team to zero players. let me know if you have any questions. :)

I generally work 7:30 to 4 EST on weekdays (I'm not off tomorrow, unfortunately), but I tend to get home late because I work out Mon, Tue, Thu, and Fri. So either we do the draft on a weekday at, like, 8pm or so (and I pray it's done by 9:30 so I can still get a full 8 hours sleep), or we do it Wed anytime after 5:30pm.

Actually, let me go back on that; I can very easily sacrifice working out on a specific day if you all feel a day other than Wednesday would be easiest for the draft, so expect me home by 6pm tonight, and by 5:30pm for the rest of the week. And if I have to sacrifice a few hours sleep due to a late draft, well... that's what coffee is for. XD

I work 8-4:30 weekdays, and have to work until 5 on Wednesday and Friday due to class. Mariner Bay Firefighters is in school until 3... and then he has his Firefigher explorers meetings, so I'll help him set up the auto pick just in case he can't get online. I have mine set last I checked as well. The later in the evening, and not Wednesday would be the best for me and him... but we'll deal if this doesn't work for y'all.

Um, my life has been thrown up in the air again. That being said, I think anytime after 6pm on Wednesday will work for me. If not, do what's best for everyone else while I try to keep on top of the current crisis. ::thumbs up::
